The bed I built for my own two dogs
Made for life Together
This bed started with my two dogs — and two problems I couldn't solve for them.
It began with DerDer.
He's my older one, and the sensitive sort: he picks one spot, settles in deep, and makes it his. His bed was never just a bed to him — it was the one corner of the house that was always, only his. But I went through two beds before I understood the problem. The foam ones I'd bought him would pick up a smell within a month of normal use, and after three or four washes they'd either lost their support for good or still wouldn't come clean. The second time I carried one out to the trash, he spent that whole evening going room to room, looking for it. That was the day I set out to build a bed that wouldn't give out on him — one you could actually clean, that kept its shape, and stayed his for good.
Then Chino shaped the rest of it.
My Pomsky came home with one thing of his own — a little blanket he wouldn't be without, his safe place in a strange new house — so I already knew how much a spot of their own meant to them. But Chino runs hot. All summer he'd abandon his bed for the bare floor, just to find somewhere that didn't hold the heat. So as I refined the bed, I kept tuning it for him too: open enough to breathe and not trap heat, so he'd actually want to stay on it.
Good design disappears.
What We Believe
It doesn't ask for attention — it earns trust through daily use.
That's why we start with how things actually get used: the daily pressure, the muddy paws, the midnight repositioning, the wash cycle that should just work. If a product can't handle the routine, the design doesn't matter.
We make pet essentials that hold up, clean easily, and sit quietly in any room — built to the same standard we'd want in our own home, because that's exactly where they end up.
Care without the friction. Grounded in engineering. Designed to belong.
How we built it

The breaking point
Two beds, both in the trash
Foam that smelled within a month and gave out after a few washes. There had to be a bed that lasted.

The brief
Lasts. Washes. Breathes.
One bed that keeps its shape for Derder, washes clean to the core, and breathes so Chino won't flee the heat.

A year in the core
Our own ZephyrTech™ air-fiber
More than a year refining the core — washable through and through, supportive, with a plush give close to natural latex, sized to fit standard crates.

The name
It became FURIZEN
A bed for two dogs had grown into something bigger — so it needed a name. FURIZEN: fur, for them; "I," for you; zen, for the calm you both keep — and, said once more, for reason.

A brand begins
Our very first bed
Built for Derder and Chino, now ready for your dog — the first bed from FURIZEN, and the start of the brand.
